I love shrugs, I have an addiction to shrugs even, but I only have heavier wool ones. It’s been hot outside this summer, real hot, but any time there is a chill in the air I feel it all the way to my bones. I needed a nice cotton shrug with great drape for cool summer nights or cold air conditioned days at the office and I needed something easy that I could make while watching television. Enter the Rectangle Cotton Shrug! I got some really great Araucania Chacabuco Multy which is a super bulky cotton with a lot of personality and used simple garter stitch so as to not take away from the characteristics of the yarn while also showing off the yarn’s texture.
